On October 4, 2016, Franklin and I attended a special reception and dinner honoring Atlanta HistoryMakers, of which I am one. Several years ago I was honored to be selected for the BusinessMakers category. HistoryMakers describes my group as being “individuals recognized for their accomplishments in leading, managing, and developing the business operations of corporations and financial organizations. Small business owners, entrepreneurs, corporate executives and business consultants are included.” At the event on October 4th over 150 Atlanta HistoryMakers will be honored, including two women I greatly admire Bishop Barbara King and the incredible motivational speaker, Patricia Russell-McCloud.
